Turning the Tide: SeaO₂’s CO₂ Capture Innovation Featured on NPO Radio 1 📻
In a recent radio interview on NPO Radio 1, our co-founder and advisory board member, Dr. David Vermaas, discussed the exciting potential of electrochemical CO₂ capture from seawater. Our groundbreaking technology, developed by Dr. Rose Sharifian, our other co-founder, completed the NWO Faculty of Impact program and is already making waves in the carbon capture and carbon removal space.
Dr. Sharifian’s innovation led to the creation of SeaO₂ two years ago, and we’ve been scaling up our process ever since. With a goal of capturing 250 tons of CO₂ this year, we’re on track to remove 1 megaton of CO₂ by 2030. 🌍.
